FOUR sexual offences were recorded by police in Dunbar in January.
Police received nearly 200 calls throughout the first month of the year, with 38 crimes being recorded.
Community police officers highlighted the various offences in a written report to Dunbar Community Council.
The report is split into five sections: protecting the most vulnerable; reducing violence and anti-social behaviour; reducing acquisitive crime; improving road safety; and tackling serious and organised crime.
Under the first heading, officers noted four sexual offences, as well as three bail offences.
Five assaults, four vandalisms, possessing an offensive weapon and urinating in public were among the issues under the second heading.
Five thefts were highlighted, as well as a shoplifting theft and a business being stolen from.
Officers also highlighted a case of careless driving and the possession of drugs.
