East Lothian app SOLE has unveiled new special Valentine’s Day routes in Musselburgh for couples to enjoy.

SOLE was launched last year and was designed to help people in East Lothian shop local by allowing them to access local shops and other services, including online booking.

The app now has six trails in Musselburgh for Valentine’s Day.

Announcing the trails on Facebook the business said: “Our Musselburgh trail starts with a visit to Me-Time Therapies, where you could purchase a voucher or book a relaxing aromatherapy massage.

“If that gift doesn’t suit you, head to Chiya and Chai Loose Leaf Tea, where you can order some gorgeous loose-leaf tea and chocolates.

“If you are looking for something beautiful, look no further than Blueberry Gifts – an independent gift shop on Musselburgh High Street selling various gifts, including jewellery, candles, mugs, cards and sweets.

“The weather is probably not going to be warm, so head up the High Street and visit East Coast for a gorgeous meal, sure to warm you up.

“After lunch, take a romantic stroll around the 18th-century Newhailes House and Gardens.

“You could end your day with a night at Carberry Tower Mansion House and Estate for a special Valentine’s gift. The Bistro at Carberry House also boasts a delicious and affordable menu.”

To use the trail, download the free SOLE Scotland app from sole.scot or via any app store.
