THE Port Seton Centre is hosting an afternoon with local storyteller Tim Porteus exploring the history and heritage of Cockenzie and Port Seton.
Port Seton Past and Present is being described as an “intergenerational” event and is supported through Scottish Book Trust’s live literature funding.
Tim will be sharing his own experiences growing up in the area and facilitating discussions with the audience to explore the many things that make Port Seton special to them.
The public are encouraged to go along and reminisce about the “old days” and learn about the village’s past.
The event takes places from 1.15pm to 3.15pm on Wednesday.
Admission is free.
