A coffee morning organised by a group celebrating its 20th anniversary has raised more than £1,400 for people in need in Malawi.
The event, organised by North Berwick Churches and held at St Andrew Blackadder Church, was in aid of Kauma Village orphans.
The North Berwick project started in 2002 to help children orphaned by AIDS and their guardians, and the first coffee morning was held in January 2003.
The money will go towards electrifying kitchens throughout the village.
It will be sent to the Adziwa Ministry, which is the Capital City Baptist Church’s outreach programme.
