SUBWAY on Haddington High Street will be open within a week.
The international sandwich chain is reopening the premises on the town centre street after shutting three years ago.
Subway already has a branch in Musselburgh and is counting down to returning to Haddington.
Now, it has been confirmed that the business will be open by next Monday (February 6).
Stuart Tait, from Prestonpans, will be in charge of the High Street branch.
The 26-year-old said: “I’m very excited to be re-opening the Subway restaurant in East Lothian, and am looking forward to being able to once again serve our delicious range of great tasting and freshly made subs, wraps and salads in my local community.
“It’s important to me that this new business venture will not only provide local jobs in the area, but also add a bit of flavour and excitement back into the local high street.”
Previously, a spokeswoman for Subway confirmed four jobs would be created alongside the franchisee at the business.
