THE Coastal Communities Museum in North Berwick is holding its next winter talk today (Thursday), about the life of Mary Wyndham, wife of Hugo, 10th Earl of Wemyss.
The talk, given by Ailsa Fortune, will delve into Mary’s privileged life that was at times burdened with sadness and tragedy.
She was a leading member of the ‘Souls’, a loosely knit, socially elite group of friends, who revelled in the pursuit of intellectual and cultural excellence.
The talk will be held in the chapel at St Andrew Blackadder Church. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
