FUNDING needs to be found for a replacement bridge over the River Tyne in Haddington.
East Lothian Council revealed plans last year to replace the bridge, which connects Riverside Drive and the path beside the 3G pitch off Whittingehame Drive.
A public consultation outlined that the new bridge would be wide enough for a two-way crossing and wheelchair and buggy use.
A council spokesperson said funding for technical designs was being sought.
Once that has been secured, designs will be presented to the community.
