A county charity aimed at supporting fathers and male carers is hosting a new weekly service and safe space for dads in the community.

DadsWork is a community project in East Lothian working with fathers and male care givers. It provides support groups, positive parenting classes, workshops on the role of fathers, home visits, trips and outings for fathers and their children.

The new service starts on Monday (January 23) at 11am until 1pm and takes place at the DadsWorks facility at 9A Orchard Crescent, Prestonpans.

There will be free wi-fi, phone charging, hot drinks and soup, along with activities such as board games, music and access to computers.

DadsWork volunteers will also be on hand for chat and support.

The group thanked Walk With Scott Foundation for supporting the new service.
