A GROUP of schoolchildren have been inspired by a Canadian artist to create an impressive sculpture.
Primary four and five pupils at Haddington Primary School have been working to encourage each other and staff to reduce plastic waste.
The pupils were inspired by artist Benjamin Von Wong and took part in a project called ‘Turn off the plastic tap Haddington Primary School’.
The artist is trying to make people aware of environmental issues through his artwork.
Pupils created the work of art, which found a home in the school’s playground ahead of the festive break.
