FLOODING at a Haddington bank has caused “significant damage”.
The TSB branch, on the town’s Court Street, has been closed since the festive period.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed work was ongoing to repair the damage but there was no date for when it could reopen.
He said: “The branch has been temporally closed due to flooding which has caused significant damage and made it unsafe for customers.
“Remedial work is ongoing to repair this damage and get the branch open again.
“The ATM continues to be available and customers needing access to a TSB branch can use our nearest branch in Musselburgh.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause and are doing everything we can to reopen as quickly as possible.”
