MEMBERS of the public will be given the chance to air their views on plans for a substation near Innerwick.

SP Energy Network wants to build the substation at Branxton, between the village and the A1.

It will outline details of its plans at an exhibition in Innerwick Village Hall from January 31 to February 14.

Representatives from the company will also be in the village hall on January 31 (10am to 3pm), February 1 (5-9pm), February 13 (5-9pm) and February 14 (10am to 3pm) to answer any questions and attempt to address any concerns.

Plans have already been sent out to the Dunbar and East Linton ward’s three councillors: Donna Collins, Norman Hampshire and Lyn Jardine.
