Pupils from Dunbar Grammar School took part in an emotional festive concert last week, as youngsters put on many memorable performances.

Pupils from all year groups took to the stage to showcase their musical talents in front of a live audience in the school hall.

Claire Slowther, headteacher at Dunbar Grammar School, said: “This was our first Christmas concert since 2019 and it certainly was an extravaganza!

“We had an incredible number of music and drama performances. I was blown away by the talent and confidence of our incredible students.

“By the end of the evening, I felt rather emotional as I was so proud of each and every student involved.

“A huge thank you to the DGS music teachers (Michael Stewart, Dan Shearer and Hannah Fisher) and the East Lothian instrumental instructors for their support and encouragement of students and their hard work which made the evening so successful.”
