THE Brunton in Musselburgh is the place to be this festive season with music, ballet and panto fun.

Audiences can enjoy this year's pantomime Sinbad from now until Saturday, December 31.

They will follow the hero on his fantastic journey as he voyages from Fisherrow over the sea searching for fortune, and finding romance with runaway Princess-in-disguise, all while his interfering mammy is hot on his heels.

With nail-biting drama, dastardly pirates, giant whales and ferocious creatures guarding hidden treasure, join Sinbad and the gang this Christmas with some fun for all the family.

Back by popular demand, the Christmas Country with the Stars show returns for another night of festive toe-tapping magic on Tuesday, December 20, at 7.30pm.

Four of Ireland’s top stars all perform together in one show. The audience can join Gary Gamble with his impression of Daniel O Donnell, Owen Mac, popular Boxcar Brian and Desi Mac with classic covers of well-known songs from the Legends.

Christmas wouldn't be the same without a sentimental feel-good Jimmy Stewart movie, so The Brunton is delivering with The Shop Around the Corner on Wednesday, December 21, at 7.30pm.

Alfred Kralik (James Stewart) and Klara Novak (Margaret Sullavan) are employees at Matuschek and Company, a general store in Budapest. Klara and Alfred are constantly at odds with each other, butting heads and disagreeing on almost everything. Little do they know, they are each other's pen pal and, despite outward differences, have unwittingly fallen in love through their letters.

Tickets are available online at thebrunton.co.uk or by calling 0131 653 5245.
