PRESTONPANS residents will get the chance to step back in time and experience a Victorian Christmas this weekend.
The event takes place at Prestonpans Town Hall and is organised by the Battle of Prestonpans 1745 Heritage Trust as part of the building’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
Locals can return to 1897 and help costumed re-enactors decorate the hall, take part in traditional activities and listen to festive music.
Visitors will also be able to view the museum’s Battle of Prestonpans exhibition, which includes two sections of the Prestonpans Tapestry.
The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
Entry is free.
