A WELL-KNOWN TV presenter has visited county charity Leuchie House in anticipation of its upcoming fundraising event.
Natasha Raskin Sharp, an antiques and art expert who made her name on shows such as Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, visited the centre to show her support for Leuchie Long Lunch and her own interest in the charity’s work. Leuchie House, south of North Berwick, is Scotland’s national respite centre offering care and breaks for those living with neurological conditions such as motor neurone disease and stroke.
The Long Lunch event takes places at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh, tomorrow (Friday). It will be hosted by Natasha and will bring together businesses to enjoy a day of dining and entertainment, while learning more about the charity and its aims.
A Leuchie spokesperson said: “We were thrilled yesterday to welcome TV presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp to Leuchie House.
“The Glasgow-born presenter was joined on her own ‘road trip’ to Leuchie by John Cox, who is on the organising committee for the Leuchie Long Lunch fundraising event, and the pair were welcomed to the house by our CEO Mark Bevan.”
Meanwhile, Leuchie staff were also treated to a day of pampering as a trio of therapists from PURE Spa & Beauty provided relaxing massage sessions for the hard-working team.
PURE is one of four headline sponsors of the Leuchie Long Lunch.
