A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital following an alleged stabbing in Prestonpans yesterday.
Police were made aware of the incident at about 8.25pm yesterday evening when a man was discovered injured on Redburn Road in the town.
Enquiries are ongoing and Police Scotland are still trying to establish the full details.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25pm on Tuesday, 22 November, 2022, we were made aware of a man injured on Redburn Road, Prestonpans.
“A 33-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
