MORE than 100 poppies were created and put on display in Gladsmuir ahead of Remembrance Day.
The fence at the village’s play park displays dozens of crocheted and felt red and black poppies.
The display was made by members of Gladsmuir Village Coffee and Craft Group.
Susan Wood, who helps run the group, which meets every second Wednesday in Gladsmuir Parish Church, was pleased with the display.
She said: “It has been wonderful to get together and mark Remembrance Day as a community.
“I’d like to thank everyone who helped create this display.”
The group meets from 10.30am to noon and for more details see the village’s noticeboard.
