A PRESTONPANS man who turned up at a home in Tranent and demanded entry has been placed on a supervision order.
Liam Edmond, of Schaw Road, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by attending at the property at Northfield earlier this year.
Edmond banged on the door and demanded entry while shouting and swearing at a woman.
The 24-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to admit the offence last month and was back in the dock for sentencing on Friday. He also had not guilty pleas accepted by the Crown to challenging members of the public to fight with him during the same incident on July 10.
Sheriff McCormack sentenced Edmond to be placed on a nine-month supervision order in a bid to monitor his behaviour.
