A man has been taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a Musselburgh street yeterday afternoon (Saturday).
Police were alerted to a report of concern for a person at a building on North High Street, Musselburgh at about 2.50pm yesterday.
Police vehicles were spotted in the area near Brunton Hall Theatre and locals reported the area had been taped off.
Police have since confirmed the man was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 2.50pm on Saturday, 19 November, 2022 we were called to a report of a concern for person at a premises on North High Street, Fisherrow, Musselburgh.
"Emergency services attended and a man has been taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
No details on the man or his condition have been given.
