ALISTER Hadden, from Wallyford, is the new president of Musselburgh Probus Club.
He was elected at the group’s annual general meeting last month.
Tom Anstruther was elected secretary, Ivor Highley treasurer, and David Monaghan speaker secretary.
Mr Anstruther proposed a vote of thanks to former president Edward Yeoman, who has served four years in office, and his support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Club meetings are held fortnightly at St Michael’s Church Hall in Dalrymple Loan. Visitors are welcome to attend.
