Great British Bake Off (GBBO) winner Peter Sawkins will be at Dunbar Parish Church Hall on December 6 to promote his new children's book ‘Peter’s Baking Party’.
Mr Sawkins was the youngest winner of GBBO in 2020, when he won it at just 20 years old, and has gone on to release a cook book.
His new book is the second he has released and aims to introduce young bakers to baking by encouraging them to get started with easy recipes and progressing to show stopping cakes.
Mr Sawkins will discuss the book, which will be available for purchase on the night for £20, as well as his time on GBBO at the event, which kicks off at 6pm, and will give a live demonstration of one of the recipes from his book.
He will then answer audience questions and sign books for those who have purchased them.
Tickets for the event cost £5 and doors will open at 5.45pm with the talk running until 7pm followed by audience questions.
The event is suitable for children aged six and over and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
