COCKENZIE Primary School last week said farewell to a valuable member of staff.
Mrs Ann Muir, who worked in the school office for 20 years, has retired.
Lynda Banks, headteacher at Cockenzie Primary School, paid tribute to Mrs Muir, saying: “Ann Muir has worked at our school for 20 years, every day going above and beyond.
“Ann will be missed and I would like to thank her, on behalf of the whole school community, for her dedication and commitment to the school.
“We all wish her a very long and happy retirement.”
