THE Mercat Grill in Whitecraig is going American to celebrate the start of the National Football League (NFL) season.
The restaurant is holding an American tailgate party for the opening weekend of the season this Sunday.
American football fans can get involved in this American-style party, where people gather and party around the tailgate (boot) of their car with drinks and a barbecue, normally in car parks before a big live sporting event.
Set in the restaurant’s closed-off car park from 3pm, there will be family-friendly games, DJ Tony providing music, barbecue, food and drinks. NFL games will kick off at 6pm on the big screens.

The Mercat Grill will be showing NFL games throughout the season.
