APPLE pie is on the menu as people are encouraged to celebrate the start of the apple harvest in Dunbar.
The Ridge is holding an open afternoon at Empire Close and Ridge Gardens on Sunday as part of East Lothian Archaeology & Heritage Fortnight.
People heading to the event are encouraged to bring their own eating apples for juicing while apples picked from The Backlands will be used in pies.
There will also be a chance to learn how to make bricks and natural inks for drawing.
For more information and to book a place at the event, which runs from 2pm to 5pm, email lucy@the-ridge.org.uk
