THE company behind a proposed wind farm near Gifford is hosting public exhibitions for residents.
Belltown Power is promoting Newlands Wind Energy Hub, which would be 6km southeast of Gifford and comprise of wind turbines, battery storage and habitat enhancement.
At a previous consultation, it was agreed to place fewer turbines in the plans, as well as reducing their tip height and place fewer turbines on the front ridge.

The second set of exhibitions take place both virtually and in-person, allowing residents to see the plans, give feedback and learn about how the wind farm could benefit the community.
The in-person meetings take place in Gifford Village Hall on September 21, 2-8pm; in Garvald Village Hall on September 22, 11am-3pm; on the same day at Stenton Village Hall, 4-8pm; and in the John Gray Centre in Haddington on September 23, 10am-2pm.
The virtual exhibition is available at newlandshillwindenergyhub.com from Wednesday.
