A PRESTONPANS thief has been ordered to stay out of trouble and be of good behaviour for the next six months after pleading guilty to three offences.
Christopher Storrie, 41, admitted stealing a quantity of alcohol from the Day-Today store on the town’s Redburn Road in July last year.
Storrie also pleaded guilty to taking a quantity of food items from the same premises on November 4 last year.
He also admitted his guilt to a third offence of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at an address on the town’s Grange Grove on October 9 last year.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told that Storrie, of Northfield Gardens, attended at the home uninvited and shouted and swore while also acting in an aggressive manner.
Sheriff Matthew Auchincloss deferred sentence on Storrie to April next year for him to be of good behaviour.
