A PRESTONPANS man who struggled with two police officers while being arrested will be sentenced next month.
Peter Logan resisted the arrest procedure following an alleged incident on Musselburgh High Street earlier this year.
Logan, of North Bank Road, was charged with breaching his bail conditions by allegedly approaching a woman he had been ordered not to contact.
Police were called in to deal with the matter and the 45-year-old resisted, obstructed or hindered the two officers on June 3.
But when his case called at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week, the Crown accepted his not guilty plea to the bail breach offence.
Logan did plead guilty to the resisting arrest charge and sentence was deferred to September 15.
