TWO chemistry teachers will brew up a treat for beer fans when they team up with a local history group to bring a Gravity Beer and Cider Micro-festival to Cockenzie next month.

The 1722 Waggonway Project and Faking Bad Brewery are teaming up once more for a beer and cider micro-festival on Saturday, August 6, from noon until 11pm at the Waggonway museum on West Harbour Road.

Faking Bad Brewery Limited was set up in 2018 by Preston Lodge High School chemistry teachers Gareth Evans and Gordon Kidd.

The one-day event will feature two of Faking Bad’s beers and guest ciders from the Taunton Cider Company.

The event will raise money for the 1722 Waggonway Project.

Children and young people can attend with an adult between noon and 6pm.
