THE S3 boys’ football team from Musselburgh Grammar School won the East Lothian U15 Trophy.
The Musselburgh Grammar side defeated Ross High School, Tranent, on penalties after the teams had drawn 0-0 at Foresters Park in Tranent.
A penalty save from Sami Hyvonen, followed up by Jayden Stewart slotting home the winning penalty, brought the trophy home to the school.
Euan Michie, PE teacher at Musselburgh Grammar, said: “It was a proud moment to be involved in helping the boys represent the school at a cup final. Both teams were a credit to themselves and should be congratulated on their conduct, commitment and high performance level throughout the game.”
