Volunteers from North Berwick Fire Station have raised hundreds of pounds after hosting a charity car wash.

The team hosted the event on Sunday and eventually raised £337 pounds for The Fire Fighter's Charity.

The charity helps support current and retired firefighters through injury and psychological issues associated with their job as well as providing support for their families.

The volunteers thanked all the people in the area for coming along and helping make the car wash a success while raising so much for charity.

They said on Facebook: "Can I just thank the North Berwick and surrounding community as well as Kate, Dave, Jack and Steph (of North Berwick fire station) for their help in raising £337 for the Fire Fighter's Charity to help current and retired firefighters through a range of problems."
