A GROUP which protects and cares for a much-loved park in Dunbar is calling for new members.
Friends of Winterfield is encouraging people who enjoy Winterfield Park to join the group and have their say.
The park is home to the town’s tennis and cricket clubs, as well as being a daily destination for many joggers and dog walkers.
Formed in 2011, the group missed out on celebrating its 10th anniversary due to Covid-19 but is back with a new logo “and lots of energy and enthusiasm to ensure Winterfield continues to be a great space to be for the next 10 years”.
Sue Anderson, chairwoman of Friends of Winterfield, said: “Becoming a Friend of Winterfield isn’t just for those neighbouring the park or a stone’s throw away, it’s for all local or visiting park lovers alike.”
