Pioneer Film Studios is based in Stepps
COUNCILLORS have given the go-ahead for further development at a film studio in Stepps.
Pioneer Film Studios has been granted permission for a change of use of former warehouses at its campus in to be designated as suitable for production rather than storage.
This application is part of an ongoing expansion programme by Pioneer to increase the scale of their former distillery site.
Although a departure from the local development plan it was considered acceptable given the existing and proposed use of the site which meant it was considered a good quality development.
