AN INVESTIGATION surrounding a drainage issue in Haddington has been launched.
Scottish Water were parked up on Mill Wynd in the town this morning (Wednesday).
A spokesman for the organisation said: “We were on site today investigating potential drainage issue which is impacting the Mill Lade (culverted water course) in Haddington.
“We suspect there is a possible cross connection or faulty pipework in the area, but we need to carry out further investigation to determine this.
“We will be returning to this location to do a CCTV survey of the drainage pipe we suspect to be at fault.
“The results of this will determine any further action for Scottish Water or others.”
