FOOTBALL fans will come together this weekend to raise money for youngsters in Ukraine.

Six teams will line up at Hibernian Training Centre on Sunday, with funds going to Dnipro Kids.

A link between the Easter Road side and the Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk dates back to 2005.

Hibs had drawn Dnipro in the UEFA Cup and a handful of supporters organised a collection for orphans before making the trip for the away leg in Ukraine.

Hibernian Football Fans In Training (FFIT) are organising the tournament, which kicks off at 3pm.

Now six teams – representing Hibernian, Glasgow Titans, Rangers, Celtic, Prestonpans Hearts Social Club and Hibernian podcast Longbangers – will play at the training centre, near Ormiston, in an eight-a-side tournament.

Each team is made up of players over the age of 35.
