THE Macmerry community turned out in force for the village's gala day on Saturday.
Although there was no gala queen or court this year, organisers still ensured a gala day was able to take place, the first since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A fun day was enjoyed in the park, before later in the day a fancy dress parade made its way through the village.
