A WALLED garden has inspired eight artists who will open an exhibition later this year.
Ruth Alder, Lise Bech, Jonathan Gibbs, Kate Henderson, Jessie Ann Matthew, Kate Millbank, Susan Nuttgens and Sylvie Soudan will all showcase their work at Amisfield Walled Garden.
The eight-acre walled garden, on the outskirts of Haddington, is under restoration by volunteers and is part-financed by the National Lottery Community Fund and by East Lothian Council.
After a year of studying the garden, each artist has created a response to the plants, people and stories that make it special.
Their expertise in printmaking, willow weaving, stained glass, ceramics, painting and floristry combine for the exhibition, the first of its kind to be held at the garden.
The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm from September 17 to 25. For more information, go to amisfield.org.uk
