ROSS High RFC will play host to a summer family fun day next month to raise money for a cancer charity.

The rugby club’s Blawearie Bash will take place on July 16 from noon to raise funds for Maggie’s – a charity that provides free cancer support and information in centres across the UK and online.

Attendees can tackle an assault course in the wacky races, battling head to head in teams of five, with prizes awarded for the winning team and best team theme.

Later on, a party on the pitch will offer live entertainment, games and food throughout the day.

Following the event, the community is invited to dance the night away with a jam-packed line-up of live entertainment expected, awards, prizes and more.

The event is in partnership with Cut Price Timber and Ryan Dudgeon.

Those interested in the assault course are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
