TWO East Lothian businesses make their debut at Saturday’s Haddington Farmers’ Market.
Innerwick-based Station House Bakery and Edinburgh Kombucha, from Humbie, will be among dozens of stallholders lining up on the town’s Court Street.
Station House Bakery will have a range of sourdough breads, croissants, pastries, tarts and treats made with local and fairtrade ingredients.
Meanwhile, with the growing interest in healthy drinks, kombucha is a naturally fermented beverage and, being non-alcoholic, is a good alternative to wine.
Among the other stallholders are Dugs Life, a favourite among dog owners, and natural skincare company Caurnie Soaperie, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
The market’s 25 stalls will be open between 9am and 1pm, and Haddstock festival will be in full swing, providing entertainment in and around the town.
Haddington Pipe Band will also make its monthly appearance at the market.
