A Haddington man has admitted possessing a knife at the High Street in Musselburgh.
Steven Carnegie, Templeton Crescent, was caught carrying the blade by police officers on September 2, 2020.
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
Sheriff Graham Primrose QC deferred sentence for the preparation of social work reports on Carnegie to next month.
