A CAR left a country road, crashed through a small stone wall and ended up in a field, as these images show.
It is not believed anyone was injured in the incident which took place near Camptoun on the unclassified road between Drem and Haddington, close to the B1343 and not far from the Hopetoun Monument.
The driver of the black Ford Fiesta was travelling southbound, towards Haddington, when the car crossed the carriageway and ended up in a field, sustaining significant damage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were made aware of a single car crash near the B1343 near Athelstaneford around 7am on Tuesday, 17 May, 2022.
"There were no reports of any injuries and no further police involvement is required."
