Outdoor seating area at No.12 Bar and Bistro
A popular hotel and bar in North Berwick has applied for planning permission from East Lothian Council to extend the hours for its outdoor seating area.
No. 12 Bar and Bistro, on Quality Street, has operated an outdoor seating area since 2020.
Planning for the outdoor area was approved for a period of three years, allowing the bar to offer food and drink to customers outside between 10am and 8pm.
The applicants now hope to operate from 8am until 10pm, claiming that the original application was “in error”.
A decision is set to be made by June 5.
