A ‘story trail’ has been established in North Berwick to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and help families explore the town in fun and interactive ways.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon Trail has been set up by High Street Safari with help from North Berwick Community Council and will be available free to all visitors between this Saturday and June 12.
The trail – which requires the use of a smartphone – takes about 45 minutes to complete.
Players will digitally experience seven ‘characters’ who have ‘come to life’ from Buckingham Palace, and are ‘visiting’ North Berwick on a day out.
These characters reveal more of the jubilee story.
Participants are given the opportunity to visit local businesses and venues as they play along, and get the chance to donate to Help for Heroes, a charity set up for veterans and their families.
