A TRANENT community group will play host to a ladies’ day to raise money for an organisation that supports women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
The Tranent Belters – a social and charity club founded in 1974 – will hold the fundraising day, featuring music from Heart2Heart, bingo, games and a raffle at East Lothian Co-operative Bowling Club at noon on Sunday.
The event is for Women’s Aid East & Midlothian, which supports and offers information and temporary accommodation to women who have suffered at the hands of domestic abusers.
Tickets cost £10 per person.
Included in the ticket is a drinks voucher.
