NORTH Berwick Rotary Club is gearing up to celebrate its annual classic car rally on Sunday.
Fifty-six cars have already signed up to the event, which will feature a procession of classic vehicles through the East Lothian countryside.
Last year’s event raised more than £12,000 and the club is hoping to raise even more this year, with money going to charities including Stepping Out and East Lothian Young Carers.
A Rotary spokesperson said: “There is no definition of a classic car – it is simply a car of any age that is loved, enjoyed and treasured by its owner.
“Previous entries have included a 1929 Chevrolet and a 2016 Mercedes.
“Spectators will see a wide range of gleaming vehicles including MGs, Jaguars, Aston Martins, Morris Minors and many more!
“The rally will commence at North Berwick Tesco, with cars checking in from 9am and setting off from 10am – this is a great place to see these splendid vehicles, meet the proud owners and take lots of photographs!”
After setting off from Tesco at 10am, the rally will then head towards Carfraemill to perform a loop in the Scottish Borders before arriving in Longniddry and heading back to North Berwick.
Those wanting to enter the rally can still do so by emailing nbrotaryclassiccars@gmail.com
The minimum donation for entry is £50.
