A COUNTY park has become the site of a film studio, thought to be for the upcoming seventh season of the international hit TV show Outlander.
John Muir Country Park, near Dunbar, was converted into an 18-century battle camp on Sunday, with residents spotting rows of identical old-fashioned tents.
Other period pieces were also spotted, including horse-drawn carts, cannons, old-fashioned woven bags for sand or grain and other smaller props.
The area remains cordoned off to the public, with cast and crew not having arrived on the site as of yet.
The period drama has become an international sensation, following the history of Scotland from the Highland clearances to the Jacobite rebellion and beyond.
Actor Sam Heughan has been spotted filming already in Fife and Edinburgh, leading many to believe he will soon be visiting East Lothian as well.
More details about what historical battle will be filmed in the county remain unknown, but locals will be hoping to get a glimpse of their favourite actors as they eagerly await the next instalment of the series.
