FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a fire near Seton Sands Holiday Park last Wednesday.

The fire was reported to emergency services at about 5.30pm, with no casualties reported.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.33pm to reports of a fire in the open near to a holiday park at Port Seton.

“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a large quantity of tree cuttings.

“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
