A HIGH Street travel agents is closing its doors after 10 years of service.
Location Travel Agency, an independent agency located on Tranent High Street founded in March 2012, is operated by Keith Hutchison.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Keith has made the difficult decision to permanently close the shop and work part-time from home.
He said: “The pandemic has been very hard for the travel industry and the high street in particular.
“Travel is starting to pick up again, but not anywhere near the levels we saw before the pandemic, so we as a business need to cut costs down.
“All customers with bookings have already been contacted.”
Location Travel Agency will continue to operate from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 10am and 5pm, and Saturdays from 9am to noon until the end of May.
Keith added that details for the business moving forward after May would be disclosed in due course.
