A BOXING gym in Tranent will act as a drop-off centre for donations for Ukrainian refugees.
The Bronx Boxing Gym, based at Tranent Town Hall, will open its doors throughout April to accept donations of clothing and other items needed.
The gym’s John McCallum said: “After watching the news, it gives me a heavy heart to see pictures of poor people getting killed and bombed in Ukraine. This is the year 2022; please, if you can, every little helps.”
