A MAN allegedly carrying a knife and about 1,000 tablets, thought to be controlled drugs, was arrested in Prestonpans over the weekend.
A 31-year-old male was apprehended on Sunday following reports of a man causing a disturbance in a public place and was allegedly found to be in possession of a knife and about 1,000 unknown tablets, suspected to be controlled drugs.
He was arrested and held in police custody to appear at court, with an investigation continuing in relation to the tablets found.
