SCOTTISH Labour leader Anas Sarwar was in Prestonpans today (Friday) as he paid a visit to Prestonpans Community Development Trust.

Mr Sarwar was joined by South Scotland MSP Martin Whitfield and Labour's Preston Seton Gosford by-election candidate Colin Yorkston on a visit to the trust's premises on North Grange Avenue to hear about the trust's work in the community.

The visit came ahead of next Thursday's (January 20) by-election to elect a new councillor for the Preston Seton Gosford ward following the death of council leader Willie Innes last October.
